CHLOE GRACE MORETZ IS LOCKED & LOADED TO FIGHT OFF ALIENS IN THE UPCOMING SCI-FI THE 5th WAVE

Rick Yancey's young adult science fiction novel, The 5th Wave (first installment in a trilogy) has been favorably compared to The Hunger Games, and critics have quoted that it "should do for aliens what Twilight did for vampires". And now it is turned into a science fiction thriller film directed by J. Blakeson, scheduled for release in 2016 January.

Chloë Grace Moretz plays the lead role Cassie Sullivan, a girl who is trying save her brother from an alien invasion that has destroyed most of the Earth. The aliens, known as the Others, have come to Earth to take it and rid it of humanity. Joining the cast are Nick Robinson, Alex Roe, Maika Monroe, Liev Schreiber and Zackary Arthur
