Touted as one of the most anticipated films in 2015, Del Toro's hoping to bring to the silver screens with an impact like how Pan's Labyrinth did in 2006. With a haunted mansion as the centrestage, the very foundation of the gothic tradition - it tells the story of a young author Edith Cushing (Wasikowska) who tries to move away from a family tragedy and starts a new life with charming Sir Thomas Sharpe (Hiddleston), but soon discovers the dark, haunting side of his family.
