GOODNIGHT MOMMY [2015 January]

Already in theatres, horror film Goodnight Mommy is Austrian's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the upcoming 88th Academy Awards. Written and directed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, it tells the story of twins Elias and Lukas who discovers their mother's odd behaviour after returning from a plastic surgery, still wrapped in bandages. Soon the boys suspect that an imposter has replaced her, where the film unfurls into a horrific, captivating thrill-ride. Definitely one of my highly anticipated horror watch-list this year.
